Finally!

November 30th, 2009 Aaron 1 comment

Finally got some real east coast riding in to kick off my 09/10 season – about 10 inches of fresh snow dropped up at SugarbushVT this past weekend and the Rhythm Snowboards crew (www.rhythmsnowboards.com) took full advantage. I headed up north from Boston with them to get my hike/shred on…

Sugarbush early shred!

November 23rd, 2009 Aaron 3 comments

Vermont’s Yale Cousino had an interview set up at Sugarbush this past weekend so Tony and the park crew set up a down rail for the t.v. crew to get some footage. We cruised to the top of Lincoln Peak in the back of an old pickup truck, and the session was on… Luke Haddock, Benny Sulo, Jeff Deforge, Trevor Borelli, and Yale got their down rail on for about an hour before adding in an easy up tent as an overhead obstacle and changing snowboarding – FOREVER (seriously, this was next level, don’t be surprised if you see some ‘ducking’ at your local park (ha)).

Big in Japan

I shot this sequence of Louie Vito’s double cork at Hood this summer -  the guys over at ‘Freerun’ mag in Japan ran it their latest drop. The ‘double cork hype’ has certainly started, and there is going to be a lot of talk about this trick as the Winter Olympic Games approach…

FOOD!

November 6th, 2009 Aaron 2 comments

Been kicking around the home-front, working on graphics for Rhythm Snowboards, and dialing in East Coast Snowboarding’s next drop -  6.2. Initials C.G. by B.P. on the cover… but you didn’t hear it from me.

Yesterday I found some time to work on this ‘mini-project’ I’ve been scheming for a while… involving food. I hit up the cupboards and got the goods for this experiment. Lit everything up and shot a couple of photos that have been in my head for a couple of months now. Kinda weird, but lunch was weirder….

Blatt_FOOD-2350Blatt_FOOD_2I’m sure I’ll do something with these ones in the future… any suggestions?
